Exquisite one of a kind Art Deco Egyptian Revival necklace features pressed glass cameo focal set in decorative brass frame & eight gorgeous pressed step glass pieces reminiscent of steps of a pyramid. The color of the glass pieces alternate between neutral beige & vibrant orange & are coated with chrome on the edges & bottom. Each piece is attached to the brass book chain & capped by enameled glittering gold beads with deep red & orange border & brass caps. It closes with a circle spring clasp. This is a fabulous showstopping necklace. It is an excellent example of true Art Deco Egyptian Revival jewelry fit for a museum. Unmarked, Circa 1930’s. The total length is 17 1/8″ long, the focal measures 2 1/4″ long x 1 3/4 wide. Each of the glass pieces measure 1 3/8″ long x 7/8″ wide. Each piece is attached to the brass book chain and capped by enameled glittering gold beads with deep red and orange border and brass caps. It is an excellent example of true Art Deco Egyptian Revival jewelry and is fit for a museum. The total length is 17 1/8 long. The cameo focal measures 2 1/4″ long x 1 3/4″ wide. The entire decorative bib measures 8 across when lying flat. Very good overall with age commensurate wear. The back of the pieces show crazing, the edge of one of the pieces has a small chip; there’s some wear to the chrome around the edges and oxidation to the chain. This piece has NOT been cleaned. On the fourth day an unpaid item case will be opened and the item will be relisted. If you need to make changes to your address please do so before you pay.
