I hand polished the brass and tried to clean it with a soft brush. Probably could use a little time in an ultrasonic cleaner, but I leave that to the new owner to decide if it needs that next step. I don’t think it will effect the finish, but would want to research that further. It is in really much nicer condition than others I have researched online.
