ART DECO Molded and Pierced CARNELIAN GLASS Necklace with Jet Glass Accent Stone
Striking 1920’s ART DECO Molded & Pierced CARNELIAN GLASS Necklace. With Jet/Black Arrow-shaped Glass Accents. Unsigned and set in silver metal – probably silver plate over brass. The carnelian glass panels are most likely Czech-made. The metal frames on both the carnelian panels and the black glass arrow stones. Have very fine dog-teeth bezels. The arrow stones are in a closed-back mounting with has. The necklace measures 16″ x 3/4″ with a push-in clasp. The extender chain may have been added to make it a wearable length. I’m a long-time collector who has decided it’s time to part with most of my beloved jewelry collection. I’ve collected a bit of everything – from 20s Art Deco to Modern, so take a look!
