VTG Sterling Glowing Dragon Breath Fire Opal Arts Crafts Deco Necklace 18 21g
Fascinating sterling silver and all glass dragons breath dangle pendant necklace. The red glass glows with purple iridescent spots all through this piece. It is a special process that was time-consuming and utilized techniques and materials that are to expensive to use today. This piece has an art deco, arts and crafts style and it’s definitely from 1915 to 1929. The wearable length is 17 inches and the total length including the dangle pendant is 18 inches. The total weight is 21.0 g. This piece is in near mint condition with no chips, cracks, dings, dents, flea bites, repairs or other damage. Yes, it glows from every angle and has purple spots throughout. Oval pendant is one and ahalf inches across. Solid bezel set the back is marked Sterling. Beautiful scrolling flowers and intricate designs. Don’t know if this is the original chain it is marked on the spring ring clasp 12 karat gold filled.
