Antique Art Deco Enameled Sterling Silver Fringed Pendant Necklace. This jazzy 1920’s necklace is a stylish combination of Art Deco design characteristics, including a strong red, black and silver color palette, hard and soft geometric patterns and a lively fringed element on the pendant. The pendant has a crisp fan pattern in red and black enamel on its upper section, a row of black triangles on its lower section and a liquid fringe made from 33 silver bars. The pendant is flanked by a pair of sawtooth links in red and black, and the decorative parts are suspended from a flat-sided cable chain with a marked “Sterling” spring-ring clasp. In excellent condition, the metals test positive for sterling silver, the necklace measures 15 1/2-inches long overall plus a 2-inch pendant drop and weighs 12.3 grams.
