Beautiful RARE Antique Vintage Art Deco Bohemian Czech Manganese Cadmium Glass Uranium Lemon Yellow Beads Necklace. Circa 1920’s Perfect for a Collector… Or to Wear and Enjoy! The Necklace will come in a Ribbon Tied Box and would make a GORGEOUS GIFT! A fabulous and very rare antique Art Deco Bohemian Czech Manganese and Cadmium glass faceted beads necklace. Straight away you can see that there is something exceptional about this necklace, even to an untrained eye. The beads are simply beautiful, they glow a fantastic luminescent cadmium/lemon yellow in the light – like a rapeseed flower field in the height of summer. When exposed to UV light, some of the beads fluoresce bright yellow/orange, and others a wonderful hot pink/orange colour, due to the Manganese and Cadmium content (which is totally harmless by the way). The beads are in wonderful original condition, with nice crisp facets and barely a fleabite in sight – which is amazing considering their age! I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they had not been faceted by hand. The beads are strung on a chain, which was usually just reserved for gemstones. This not only denotes quality, but also makes it very strong, without the need for re-threading. The necklace fastens with a bolt ring clasp. EVERYTHING IS ALL ORIGINAL.
