Art Deco 1920’s Platinum Diamond Sapphire Pendant, 14K White Gold Necklace Chain
Art Deco 1920’s platinum, diamond and sapphire pendant on 14K white gold 20 chain with safety chain. Pendant is flared rectangular shape, rounded at the top. The piece has intricate pierced metal work design and all edges are milgrained. In the center are 8 square faceted blue sapphires which are channel set. The sapphires are a beautiful medium blue color, not dark. 6 diamonds bead set also decorate the pendant. The pendant is attached to the chain in two places at its top. Folded on a hinge on the underside of the pendant is a drop down connector into which a pin can be attached for further adornment, and then the pendant acts as a bale for the pin. The piece is pristine and does not look worn. 6 single cut diamonds, totally approximately 0.15 cts. 8 square cut blue sapphires, totally approximately 0.80 cts. Measurements: 3/4″ 5/8″ x 3/16.
