Art Deco Sterling Silver Marcasite Necklace. This gorgeous piece is in very good condition. The necklace features bead set marcasites in a beautiful Art Deco design. The central decorative section is flanked by a continuous marcasite set linked chain. Every link to this piece is set with marcasites stones right around to the sterling silver bolt ring clasp. The piece is marked to one segment 925 Silver for sterling silver. The necklace is bright silver in colour and rhodium plated. Sterling silver was often plated in Rhodium to ensure a tarnish free life for the item of jewellery, meaning the piece will always look as new. There are no missing or damaged stones. There are no repairs. The decorative floral middle section is 125mm long with the largest central flower segment being 45mm x 23mm deep. The entire length of the necklace is 420mm long.
