Vtg Art Deco Arts & Crafts 800 Silver Filigree Natural Amethyst Pendant Necklace
Pairing Collectors with Jewels. This vintage necklace displays the decorative touches of the Art Deco aesthetic and the careful craftsmanship of the Arts and Crafts movement. The pendant is a delicate, silver filigree design, including a halo of silver brads. In the center is a rich, dark purple natural amethyst. The stone is faceted and left open at the back to sparkle in the light. At the top and bottom of the pendant are tiny flower filigree elements, creating a beautiful sense of symmetry. The chain is a minimal silver chain, either original to the pendant or from the same time period. The little drop at the bottom gives this piece that little extra delicacy in its gentle sway when worn. Period 1920’s – 30’s. Material 800 Silver, Natural Amethyst. Excellent , the chain look original to the piece or at a minimum is from the same time period. There are no chips or surface wear to the Amethyst and there are no irregularities to the filigree.
