Art Deco Egyptian Revival Scarab Pharaoh Glass Beads Necklace Neiger Brothers. Fabulous extra long Art Deco 1920s Egyptian Revival scarab necklace, feauturing white and brown coloured glass scarabs, plus round, and molded spacers and a dramatic white and brown pharaoh pendant. Following the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb, all things Egyptian became very popular in contemparary design, and this beautiful Egyptian Revival piece is from that period. Scarabs are an Egyptian symbol of eternal life. The necklace measures 28 inches, right round, with each scarab 14mm in length and the drop adding a further 3 1/4 inches. The pendant is 4.7cm in length The beads are threaded with seed beads, and in excellent condition with no damage. Although Egyptian in design, the beads are actually Czech in origin, designed by the Neiger Brothers. This is a stunning necklace, really Art Deco and very eye catching.
