Antique Art Deco Butterscotch Egg Yolk Natural Amber Bead Necklace & Cherry Bead

This stunning necklace being of the Art Deco to 1950’s period in date, c1920’s – 1950’s or thereabouts The beads being of an extremely striking egg yolk / butterscotch golden yellow / orange colouration, with the added addition of having four little cherry amber beads which set the whole necklace off showing the beautiful colours of the butterscotch amber beads and adding to the look of this beautifully designed period necklace and with good strong rose gold push in clasp. The necklace is an absolutely beautiful stunning piece of art in it’s own right, having very large amber beads of a geometric design to the centre, typical of the 1920’s – 50’s period , these set with round cherry amber beads between with strings of beautiful oval shaped beads to either side. The clasp has beautifully shaped amber beads of it’s own to either side of the push in clip style rose gold clasp although one of these is damaged. This beautiful genuine antique amber necklace measures ; (35.7cm) 18″ inches long The beads measure – Centre bead (3.3cm) 1.5/16″ inches across x (2.5cm) 1″ inches wide x approx (1cm) 1/4″ deep Two centre side beads (3.3cm) 1.5/16″ inches long x (1.4cm) 1.2″ inches wide x approx (1cm) 1/4″ deep Oval beads from approx (8mm) 1/4 ” inch to (6mm) 3/8 inches Weighs 12 grams All pictures on this listing are of the actual item for sale The necklace is in overall beautiful condition but does have some minor faults and had spot of restoration and although you wouldn’t know it, it is mentioned for the sake of accuracy with this being that the main centre bead was originally pointed but had suffered a small chip , this has been polished out leaving the now slightly rounded point , there is a minute chip to the top back right hand side of this bead where the stringing threads through and one of the shaped end clasp beads is badly chipped and other than the above mentioned the necklace and beads are in beautiful condition with the pictures showing it’s condition so please enlarge, magnify and check these out carefully if it is of interest.
