1940s Art Deco 14K Yellow Gold & Carnelian Necklace Pendant & Chain No Reserve. This listing is for a very fine 1940s Art Deco 14K yellow gold and carnelian necklace pendant and chain. The pendant and chain weigh 1.9 pennyweights of gold or 3.0 grams. The pendant measures 28mm long to the top of the bale and is 14mm wide. The chain is 18 3/4 inches or 47.6 cm long. The pendant features a square cut and prong set red carleian at the center with an engraved yellow gold floral device mounted at the center of the stone. Around the carnelian is beautifully stepped gold work with bas relief details. The pendant and chain are marked 14K, they have been tested and is guaranteed to be so. The necklace pendant and chain are in excellent condition and ready to wear. Please see the many photographs as they are an important part of the description. There is no reserve.
