STUNNING, VINTAGE ART DECO, REAL BUTTERSCOTCH AMBER BEAD NECKLACE 12g
This is a lovely, real vintage real butterscotch amber necklace of graduated, oval beads. The beads are opaque through to transparent , ranging from yellow to brown with a nice, bright colour overall, there is some figuring in some of the beads. The beads are knotted on to a natural colour stringing. It would date to the early 20th century probably or maybe Victorian. The largest bead is approx 11mm x 9mm, the smallest approx 8mm x 4mm. The weight is approx 12g on my postal scales. It is is approx 510mm long including the screw catch. The condition is of the beads is fairly good vintage with a few chipped beads, the most damaged is one of the smaller ones next to the catch.
