Astonishing Rare Silver Vintage Art Deco Rock Crystal Pendant Necklace 24 + Box

My camera is dying & I can no take decent close ups, (I will try to take some better ones later), this tests as silver & my jeweler thinks it may have been nickle plated, for it only tarnishes at the points where it has been soldered during manufacture. The gorgeous vintage jewellery box is included in the sale. This is just fabulous, a glorious tactile glistening necklace. In perfect wearable or collectable condition, falls dead between the cleavage when fastened. Total length of chain is a whopping great 60cms (24″), so often these Deco necklaces were shortened to keep them ahead of current trends & it is very rare to find one untouched, the pendant adding a further 9cm (3.2″). 10 small 4.22mm crystals are all bezel set & evenly spaced along the length of the necklace, just one of these the one nearest the clasp has a minute nick to the underside, but it invisible to the eye, with 3 slightly larger gems leading to the flat pear shaped multi faceted pendant. I have gone over the pendant with a magnifying glass & have found only a minute flea bite to the back of the point which is hidden by the silver bale & handful of invisible marks to faceted edges, they are completely invisible to the eye , the stones have been faceted not unlike the crystals seen in an ancient chandelier, all open backed so allowing light to pass through. Quite simply astonishing & would make a fabulous rare gift. Please remember to take this into account before opening any Not Recieved Item case.
